The cd Acabella: After Albany * features accompaniment from some of the best names around, including Richie Buckley on sax, Máire Breatnach on fiddle, Gerry O¹Connor on banjo, James Blennerhassett on double bass, Danny Byrt on percussion, Bill Shanley on guitar and Séamus Brett, on piano. Brett is the producer of the Acabella cd and will be familiar to audiences of Ragús: The Show in The Olympia and Vicar Street. Blennerhassett and Shanley are, of course, members of the Mary Black Band.

After Albany is receiving a lot of airplay on both national and local radio stations and the group received a hugely enthusiastic response from both the audience and host, Pat Kenny, after their recent appearance on the Late Late Show (7th Feb.) when they sang the Cheryl Wheeler number, Summerfly. The group have also sung live as guests of John Creedon on RTÉ Radio 1 (26th Feb). As they tour the country Acabella have been interviewed / sung live in studio on numerous stations including Radio na Gaeltachta, Tipp FM, North-West Radio, Highland Radio, Kerry Radio, Radio na Life and on Paul Claffey¹s show on Mid-West Radio.They also appeared on Open House Thursday 6th March.
